We have temporarily implemented the following changes within the salon in order to safeguard both our clients and staff during this pandemic. If you have any questions regarding any of the following, please contact us and we will be happy to provide any further information that you require. These changes still currently stand post December 2022, and we are constantly monitoring and updating our personal business guidelines.
- In accordance with our Covid guidelines, all beauty treatments now require an appointment to be booked and so unfortunately we are unable to take walk-ins. This means all treatments need to be booked in advance, and are of course subject to availability of our therapist(s) - therefore the salon is only open when appointments have been scheduled
- In order to maintain adequate social distancing throughout the salon, dual bookings cannot be accommodated for large appointments in order to minimise the risk of cross-contamination
- Please arrive promptly to your appointment at the time of your appointment only as the waiting area is currently closed until further notice due to social distancing measures being implemented. We therefore may not be able to accommodate your appointment if you arrive too early or late - however you are able to call ahead of your appointment to let us know if you will be early/late and we will inform you of whether this can be accommodated
- When you arrive at the salon for your appointment, please wait outside and a member of staff will open the door for you and allow you into the salon
- We ask that you kindly bring minimal personal items with you, and you are able to bring beverages with you as we are unable to offer any refreshments at this time
- If you have recently tested positive for Covid; you will kindly be asked to reschedule your appointment for after you receive a negative test result
- It is no longer a salon requirement that you keep your mask on at all times, but we reserve the right to ask you to wear a mask in certain situations. If you wish to wear a mask, you may be advised by your therapist to remove it due to the nature of a treatment and will be told when you can put it back on. Although masks are not mandatory, they are advised - staff will also continue to wear them as standard
- If possible, please arrive alone for your appointment
- We are currently accepting both card, contactless, Apple & Android Pay and cash payments
- If you need to cancel an appointment or reschedule, we ask that you please contact us 48 hours prior the appointment in line with our cancellation policy (see our FAQ's)
- All equipment and tools that can be replaced by disposable items, have been and are disposed of after every client (including facial, massage and wax bed coverings)
- All appointment times have currently been slightly extended in order to accommodate a cleaning gap between all clients to ensure all work space and tools are throughly sanitised and disinfected. Therefore all of our appointments have a 5minute cut-off time, if you are going to be late (without letting us know) your appointment may not be able to go ahead.
- All of our staff will be wearing the correct PPE throughout your appointments (mask, visor, disposable gloves and aprons) and will be temperature checked daily
- Covid19 Risk Assessments are undertaken regularly
- Hand sanitiser is available at every station within the salon
- All of our staff have undertaken WHO (World Health Organisation) training and have obtained the relevant qualifications
The Beauty Bar MK has put the above measures in place to ensure that the salon is a safe space for both clients and staff.
As always, thank you for your continued support during this difficult time and we hope that you all stay safe and well.
